Taste Disturbances?

Hi everyone,

Do any of you experience taste disturbances?

I've noticed lately that food tastes bland especially food that is supposed to have quite a bit of flavor.

I feel congested today and there is a heat advisory, but I'm staying indoors with the A/C turned on.

Is this common for people who have allergies?

I'm guessing that the congestion I have might be contributing to this. Today it (the congestion and taste disturbance) seems worse than usual.
 
I have problems with this when I have sinus infections. Congestion can affect things certainly.
 
Thanks MountainReader. I took an extra dose of Flonase earlier and am feeling better now. I had dinner a few hours ago and noticed that my food had more of a flavor than it did during lunch when I was congested.

This does make sense, but I never really thought about it because I don't get colRAB and associated congestion very often. I have congestion due to my allergies, but I don't remeraber it making food taste as bland as it did today.
