Tasks (ToDo) program for Series 60?

Hello everyone,

I have a Nokia E61 and I am looking for a good Tasks (ToDo) program that I can run on it. Unfortunately the bundled Tasks program sucks...

What I'd like is to be able to sort, either Alphabetically, or at least by date. Maybe show the current week's tasks etc. Ideally I would want to sort by category as well, but I know that's not supported by the PCSuite sync software.

So anything like this out there? Recent attempts like Aquacalendar cannot do this unfortunately.

Actually, the whole point is to be able to sync with Outlook, which is a core of my productivity system: calendar, tasks etc. I was hoping one of the software available could simply provide for a more powerful filter for the tasks already available through sync.

How about an app like AllFinder by Shape Services or Nokia's Search app? Then you can at least search for what you're looking for and sort your results by date. Not exactly what you're looking for though.

You should add your request to the wish list on s60.com and perhaps someone will integrate it with an existing app or create a new one.
 
They dont do jack. This sort of thing is a major gap in Nokia applications, as far as business users go. But I dont think Nokia is serious about business users anymore. They are just making play phones and will never fully commit to the type and range of Apps we need.

Try getting Goodlink on an E50, or getting categoroes in your Outlook and you see what I mean - its either no answer at all, "in progress" or "coming soon" - but so far never comes
 
Unfortunately skagen is right. Papyrus and Aqua Calendar fix some of the issues with calendar, but nothing about Tasks. Very dissapointing.

Zeze,

Does this use the database from ToDo notes that is already sync'ed from Outlook? I have about 300 tasks in there, and I need this sync'ing functionality as I "live" in Outlook during my day.

Thanks, I will do that over the wkend.

Apparently the developers of Papyrus are working on an impoved version with more flexibility for Tasks. Hopefully that'll solve some of the problems I am having currently. In the meantime, I just might use the Search function you mentionned above.

Finally there is a seperate Tasks view in Papyrus. And we've just released version 1.2.11

We had some DNS problems with our site so it should be up again.

Regarding (2) - You can be sure that I would not keep this a secret if I knew the answer But I'll let you know when I have more information.
