What is a safe way to taper off of Lorcet 10/650's while pregnant. I don't want to come off cold turkey because I'm afraid it may hurt the baby. I am 17 weeks pregnant.

Talk to your doctor first thing in the morning!!!! Don't just call and make an appointment, tell the receptionist that you have to talk to the doctor ASAP about something important. They will call back. Tell them your situation and ask what to do.

The best thing to do is go to your doctor and be honest. They will know what is safe to do when pregnant and what is not. Tapering off will help with not feeling the withdrawals but if your addicted your baby is probably addicted. Speak with your doctor and they will do everything they can to make sure both you and baby are healthy
