ok , my cat i found has little white...maggot like things coming out of her bumb
I didnt kw what t was..and touched it
is it possible for humans to get it from touching it...(I did wash my hands lol )
or do you have to actually ingest the white maggaty egg sack?

Sounds like roundworms, parasitic worms are common in cats and dogs. You can't see the eggs, they can survive sometime on clothing, furniture, blankets, etc. Treating your pet/s with dewormer and strict hygiene are the cure. Wash all linens with hot water and bleach, including your pet's toys and bedding, continue to do so weekly for a least a month. Vacuum couches, chairs - anywhere your pets (all of them) lay. Always wash hands throughly and vigorously after using the bathroom or cleaning up after your pet. Eggs are transmitted through fecal matter.

You can buy dewormer OTC at your local pet store but you want to bring your pet to the vet so the parasite can be identified. Some parasites are more contagious/harmful to humans than others. All are very bad for your pet.

This actually also sounds like it could be pinworms, and yes, they are highly contageous, even from animals to humans. When I was a kid, I brought every stray animal home that I came accross. The result? I ended up with pinworms, ringworms, and then ringworms again. Needless to say, my mom & dad were not happy with me!!

There is treatment for both ringworms & pinworms. Please get your cat treated ASAP, and maybe ask about profilactic treatment needs for yourself.

Take care!!! Hope you haven't picked up whatever type of parasitic worm your cat has....;)
