tape deck for a 95 chevy s-10?

The old in dash cassette players had a history of eating tapes. the problem was a rubber drive belt in the cassette player. It just could not handle more than 3 or more years of hot summer heat that builds up inside the dash. I would stay away from ones that been sitting out in the weather. You can buy a basic AM/FM CD in dash combo for 60 or 70 bucks on sale.
 
im buying the truck from my moms friend for $500 and its not really in that bad of shape but it doesn't have a cd or tape player
so i am going to the junk yard to look for a new one (and a new bed for the truck with less rust) what exactly should i look for
i only intend on using the tape deck for a cassette adapter for my ipod
