tank cycling question?

I have a 56 gallon column tank that I setup yesterday with an appropriately sized filter and heater and has Aqueon water conditioner for the tap water. I couldn't find pure ammonia at home depot or the pharmaceutical stores so I went down the zebra danio route for ammonia and bought 5 GloFish to feed the bacteria for tank cycling. I'm not sure if that is enough fishies in there or if I need more. As far as fishless cycling, I just thought of a mom and pop hardware store nearby and called them and they do have pure unscented ammonia so from here I can:

1) buy more fish if 5 GloFish won't be enough for a 56 gallon tank
2) return the 5 GloFish and do fishless cycling
3) do nothing and run with the 5 GloFish

a tank with hardy fish while cycling sure is better than one without fish but I'm willing to go fishless if it yields better results and get the GloFish again after it cycles.

what should I do?
