Tank Bag / Tail Bag / Saddle Bag for 1098/848

Just wondering if anyone has found any good solutions for the lack of Tank Bags / Tail Bags, or Saddle Bags for the 1098 or 848.

I love my Duc, and I love taking it to the track, but living in the Sacramento Area where it easily hits 100+ degree almost all summer long. I am looking for any solution that would allow me to take off my backpack, and store all of my stuff in either a Tank Bag / Tail Bag, or Saddle Bags, when I commute during the week.

Preferably I would like something that is quick and easy to install so that I dont have to spend hours transitioning my bike from a commuter to a sportbike on the weekends. But also something that it stable, and secure.

If you have found something that works on either the 1098 or the 848, can you post some pics, and/or provide me feedback on the products you have tried.

The best option I've seen is the Kriega US20/30/40. Matrix Motosports carrys them. I'm thinking of going with the US30. If you do some searching you'll see some other, much larger, options, but I think this is a good size. For what I'm looking for anyway, which is storage for 3-5 day trips during the summer. Looks like it just installs with the passenger seat.
 
I bought the DP tank bag for my 848.

After a 1 hr ride I had a huge bruise on my chest and suffered from stratight-armitis. The bag just isn't conducive to sports riding, I'm afraid
 
I ordered a Givi top case E55 Maxia Monokey plus a universal mount. I plan on mounting the universal mount directly to the rear seat with a few bolts and then mount the Givi case. It will allow me to go on long trips with my 1098s without having to wear a backpack.
 
I have Motopak saddle bags. I also have a normal square shaped pack that attaches on top. It's taken me a few tries to get the bags to hang properly but this past weekend I did 1100 miles in 2 days and FINALLY got the bags to hang right with minimal contact with the bodywork. I have a special seat I put on so the bags only contact the outer edge of my bodywork. I use green painting tape to protect the bodywork and will soon be using clear removable vinyl inplace of it.

After fruitlessly searching around for an alternative, I just ordered the new and hideously expensive Ducati tailbag that fits the passenger pad of my 1098.

Of course, its a special order and has to come from Italy, so in addition to having to sell my soul just to purchase the tailbag, I have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive...
