Tampons damage sex organs?

Why does it matter that your not supposed to wear tampons while your still a virgin? How does it damage organs? I wear them...is that bad?
I mean who wants to sit in their OWN damn blood?!?

it breaks your hymen usually which happens when you do it for the first time. your hymen is gonna break anyway

I'm in medical school and thats just an old wives tale.
Tampons would not be on the market if they damaged your sex organs. Most of the time mothers tell their daughters this because they don't want them using them for some weird reason.
Stress less, theres nothing to worry about.
