Talkback: 4Kids TV Final Broadcast 12/27/08

My father would have been upset if he had caught me watching Winx Club, and even more so if I told him that I actually *liked* it and *understood* it, because it is girl-centered. However, my family was out doing errands at the time, so nobody ever knew. I just had to watch the final show of the block.


I would not consider that a ridiculous hour. They chose it for a reason, so that children could wake up to it before school, if only they would not stay up so late at night...
 
When I was a kid I watched some shows that were geared toward girls, my parents didn't care as long as I enjoyed them....

Now if only we could get the girls from the Winx Club to make out and stuff.....HBO anyone??

I know for a fact that I have this special on VHS, but I'd need time to locate it. It's on some unlabeled tape in a sea of hundreds. Unfortunately, that's the only Saturday morning preview from Fox Box/4KidsTV that I have.
 
I think that special was the only primetime preview for Fox Box/4KidsTV (besides those times that I saw ads for TMNT, Winx Club, and Sonic X being shown during The Simpsons on Sunday nights).

My memories of Kirby, Cubix, Fighting Foodons, Funky Cops, Ultimate Muscle, and F-Zero: GP Legend will always remain (didn't mention shows on/going to the CW)

I love that Fight for the FoxBox DVD, mostly for its goofiness, as well as surprise ending!


Is Ultimate Muscle on the 4kids video player? My home computer is ancient, so I can't check... Thanks in advance!
 
Well, 4Kids TV has "left this world", "been banished to the Shadow Realm", "the area it was in was sealed off and they took it away", and any other way 4Kids sugarcoats death.
 
Well only two more shows left before the end....and i'll watch the Winx Club for the first and only and last time :-\. But here is what im setting my dvr to record for next saturday:

Batman (Cartoon Network) (Friday) (30 mins)
8:00am - 8:30am Sonic X (cw4) (30mins)
8:30am - 9:00am The Secret Saturdays (Cartoon Network) (30 mins)
9:30am - 10:00am TMNT (cw4) (30 mins)
10:00am - 10:30am Ben 10: Alien Force (Cartoon Network) (30 mins)
10:30am - 11:00am Huntik (30 mins)
11:00am - 11:30am Dino Squad (CBS) (30 mins)
11:30am - 12:00pm Sushi Pack (CBs) (30 mins)
 
I never got to see all of that Fight for the Fox Box thing due to technical difficulties... hope I can find the DVD somewhere...

And no, sadly, Ultimate Muscle isn't on the video player. I think 4Kids lost the rights to it.
