Reading through just wanted to add some in put. If you have HS@H for 9.99 no need to call in and change the system automatically will switch you if you have HS@H for 19.99 call in and change to the 9.99 you will not be switched automatically you will continue to be charged 19.99 this info is for indv plans family plans will still be 19.99
As for the router most routers are ok but for best service you would want a T-Mobile router so your calls have top priority and no risk of getting booted off the router
 
Ok...so you can call over this thing...since it's a router I am also assuming my wireless will link up to it? That sounds way to good! Then I wouldn't have to pay for the internet.
 
Not quite correct Gary. The home service is a brand new line of service (just as if you added a line on your family account) and does not affect any of your other lines. To get the unlimited UMA you must add the FEATURE for Talk Forever Mobile. Think of it this way: Talk Forever Mobile - Feature Code, Talk Forever Home - New Sim, Number and Contract.

You still must have a broadband internet connection for right now. T-Mobile is only providing the voice service not the data connection required to make the call in the first place.

Yeah t-mobile is only providing phone service over your internet. Not internet and phone service. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

Just to clarify, I was told that if you add a talk forever router and home (VOIP) line at the cost of $9.99 that service would include unlimted UMA minutes for your UMA phones at no additional charge. In other words you would not have 2 x $9.99 (talk forever line + Free UMA minutes) Is this not correct?
 
I will have full clarification tomorrow I was checking policy today but was mainly looking for the new router and on family plan right now my undestanding is that the voip line would still be another line of service so either the 9.99 for the line or a reg plan with 9.99 added and then the 9.99 for the uma feature for the cell - any other specific questions anyone else has let me know and tomorrow I will read the entire policys for the talk forever _
 
Talk Forever Home is a new line of service completely. It does not use UMA. It will use bucket minutes if the sim card is pulled from the router and put into a phone if you are on a family plan or bill you at $0.40 per minute if you are on an individual plan.

Talk Forever Mobile is a feature that gets added onto your existing line of service. It deals only with UMA.

According to the training we were provided they are billed seperately. Having Talk Forever Mobile does not give you the Talk Forever Home capability and vice-versa. If you have a UMA phone you do not have to have the Talk Forever Mobile to use UMA service, it is only needed if you want unlimited minutes from your mobile phone over Wi-Fi.
