Tales of the Abyss (TV Series) Talkback (SPOILERS)

You do realize they couldn't, because a different animation company owns the rights to that animation. That, and the character designs more than likely would clash between the opening and actual episode animation.
 
Nice. The animation is really good and the voices, I can deal with despite being unable to separate Yuri Lowenthal from Luke and Johnny Young Bosh from Guy. (...This better get licensed by Viz by the way.)

The new opening for Karma was okay but I still prefer the game version.

Anyway, next episode is going to be awesome.

Jade, Anise and Mieu---I mean "thing" make their appearance~~

I'm actually pretty impressed. So far, the changes make sense and they work out. The episode was well paced, the animation was good. And, Tear is a tsundre.

I don't really see them covering everything in 26 episodes, though. Unless...

But, yeah, hope they keep it up. ...please don't abuse Guy's phobia, Sunrise.
 
Bandai's probably going to get it, since:

a. Sunrise is owned by Bandai-Namco Holdings.
b. The game is by Bandai-Namco Games.

Either of these conditions independently wouldn't matter, but the fact that they're there together increases the chances of it being Bandai to get it.
 
I have been watching this series and have really engulfed myself in it, the story of Luke and company has really been interesting and I hope this series is ppopular enough to bring to the U.S. Van is a BA villain and Tear is an amazing character, one of my favorite heroine leaRAB in an animated series this year! So what do others think?
