[Tales of Abyss] TV anime

It just kinda clicked with me straight away having seen Asch although i do agree he looks older than Luke.

The new Luke is much better than the old one and its nice to see the others are giving him a second chance, finding out about Jade's backround was a little shocking.

I was thinking the same thing and then we find out he was the 5th replicate of Ion and he considered himself unworthy of living. Instead of changing sides he decides to commit suicide. I didn't expect to see that.

We also find out that their goddess does exist when she channelled Luke. Wow, talk about a revelation.

I'm liking Tear more and more. To bad she's been affected by the impurities in the fonics she was aborbing. So unless she has some miraclous recovery, she's down for a while.

Asch looks older than Luke likely because:

Luke was cloned while Asch was still aging and would likely reserable Asch at the time where he was cloned. Who knows how long it took for the cloning process to work and by then, Asch's DNA would not be the same age as Asch himself.

Bold for correcting your vocabulary and terminology.

If you're referring to Lorelei, it isn't a God per say. It's the sentient aggregate of the seventh fonon (the basic element of the universe) and the source of all seventh fonons. Lorelei didn't create the world according to the literature of the game that I read so far which disqualifies it as a God in terms of a creator. And I don't know why you would call Lorelei a Goddess considering its voice is quite masculine.

And Tear does recover but the treatment is far from miraculous and has a grim price to it.

i have a question about the ending...

The Luke that appeared at the end of the episode, was that like a corabination of both Luke and Asch? cuz they were together in that bubble when the building was being destroyed. And he also said something about Hod which didnt sound very much like Luke, although of course part of him is at least luke because he recalled the promise. Perhaps i am overthinking this.

My brother bought the game for this and he's playing it right now. I asked my sister if they had an anime of it and she said that they do, so I went to check it out on Wikipedia. It seems pretty interesting and everything, but I can't find a good subbed version. All I can find is the RAW versions. Now, if I knew the Japanese language and could speak it and understand it fluently, then I wouldn't have a problem. But, since I can't, I have to keep searching for the subbed versions. I think this will end up being a pretty good show.
