I got my + before I missed my period, with a Clearblue easy test. Two days before I think. But just to be on the safe side, most people wait 5-7 days after the know they missed their period to test. My test being positive was just a fluke due to my curiosity since I hadn't missed my period yet, I just didn't feel "right".
