Taking pregnancy test at night less likely to be accurate?

I tested late at night tonight (10 pm) but im 3 weeks after last irregular period, and i held it in for 4 hours. I got negative, but is this likely to be accurate since i tested late?

after 3 weeks hcg should be present... it should say that you were pregnant or not.

I've always heard that the morning is the best time to take a test.....Not saying that the test isnt accurate

your most concentrated pee is the most accurate. do it in the morning so your body is all settled and and hormones are raging!

It's mainly accurate, but not completely at night. The best urine is morning urine. Wait until you're expected period. You won't get accurate results if you test early. Since you're irregular, you should wait another week or two.
