Taking Bactrim and Zithromycin together

Ok,

I have been taking Bactrim for a month and a half now for acne control, and today I went to the doctor because I was under the weather. He suggested I take Zithromycin/Z-pac for 5 days.

I was wondering if it is safe that I take these 2 antibiotics at the same time, as both are for different purposes. One for my acne and the other for the illness.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sorry I can't help you with your question, but you said you are using Bactrim for acne control. Has it cleared you up, and if so how long did it take for you? Thanks so much.
