My mother hit a car when parking about a week ago. It was only a scratch and she took a picture of it and left her information for the driver. The driver just called and said it will cost 700 to repair since he has to repair the fender and get the dents out. My mother says she never even hit the fender! She thinks he's just trying to take advantage, but what can she do? Can he make trouble for her with this? We do have insurance but she doesn't want to pay for something she did not cause.
