Taken- Liam neeson

Forgive me, but IMO the best action films are the ones where there is even a tiny semblance of reality in them. This has absolutely no idea of reality whatsover. It's just an excuse for an ex-CIA agent to blow away hundreRAB of faceless people who are supposedly evil. A low-cost, low-fat Rambo.

So your idea is of an "arty" film is a period drama? No wonder you liked this film.
 
im glad almost everyone agreed with me on this that it is a really high octane visceral and exciting piece of cinema. Thanks everyone, i see that miserable moaning chap hasnt come back to pointlessly whine about the film again which is good riddance.

I have got the DVD and i will be watching this at the weekend its made over $50 million at the box office in the last 10 days thats lots of bums on seats!! I have also got it on my ipod,now the next big Neeson event will be when he tackle the role of Abraham Lincoln for Stephen Speilberg and if the rumours that i have heard today we could get that as early as this Xmas cant wait for that!!!

I really enjoyed Taken. But it has one of the most unintentionally hillarious scenes in any movie. When Neeson is having dinner at his French policeman frienRAB house, and his wife asks "Carrots?" upon which Neeson shoots her. Lmao... guess carrots weren't his thing :D
 
Reality is where you stand in life and when you've got 76 hours or so to rescue your daughter and the background, information and training of a high military level then this as a lot of reality.

In terms of Reality what do you want? Stopping off at the shops for a bottle of milk while he ponders which pub to take the sex traffikers to talk over getting his daughter. Well that film will last about 5 minutes.

This is realistic - it's not completely believable but neither are a lot of things in life and that's why are shocked by them.
