Enjoyed the episode, alot.

The whole stirring sauce/seeing the life he could've left was a nice touch. The crazy old guy was funny. Especially when he told Homer to ask the Garlic bread a question. :lol:

I was watching the episode in my pc, and in the beginning there's a shout "you're better than us", so i paused the video to search where it came from.

And to my surprise, who i found at the screen: Maude Flanders!! or at least, looks a lot like her, beside her children and Ned...

So, i want to ask you, is this really her??

Yes, I believe that was established in an earlier episode. I can't think of the name, but it was the one where Homer would scream spontaneously. He was traumatized as a kid - in the episode they have a parody of the movie Stand By Me with the four frienRAB. The other three frienRAB were Moe, Lenny, and Carl.

I liked the new opening credits...love how the credits where the same but with more cameos and updated.

The animation to me looked liked the movie. I don't have an HDTV either.

Pia, if you have standard tv, I believe the new credits appeared in widescreen.
