Take home pay for an Army E-4?

Looking to enlist and the recruiter told me that after basic I would be at an E-4 payscale. Due to some current financial stuff that I'm trying to get figured out, can anyone tell me what the take home amount would be, considering that I live in IL so won't have to pay state taxes.
 
Look it up on the internet...it is different for all E4's...time in service. An E4 with 5 years of active duty would be getting paid more than a E4 with 4 years of active duty. We don't know your status of how long you been in.

Is that Used Car Salesman telling you that you will be an E4 upon completion of Basic Training? Tell me that you are kidding, right?
