Tablet recommendation?

Can anyone recommend a tablet that will run W8 well?

I was thinking a duo/convertible type, where it has a keyboard but the screen flips around for just tablet use,
but I guess a regular slate would work fine as well..

Thanks

@3dpiper I am running win8 dp on my acer iconia w500. it has a keybord if you need. win8 runs very fast and smooth. no problems. if you dont need keyboard maybe you can get the msi windpad 110w. these are all expensive relatively now but once arm tablets hit the show prices will fall.

Well a journal said "Sinofsky and co offered BUILD attendees high end swag in the form of a Samsung built tablet running a developer preview of windows 8. The 11.6 inch device features SDK, a recovery environment, a dock to connect with a keyboard or dual monitor, a 64 gb ssd (solid state) hard drive, 4 gb ram and was powered by an intel chipset."
Now human nature says they had this designed to run 8 to it's best performance. I would doubt that a tablet that falls short of the specs would run very well. If it's close Id try it. But a tab like mine which is a cheep POS will never run it.

@kira which is your tab? You have to try it to believe it. Win8 runs fast on my anemic processor. Sure it will fly on the samsung series 7 slate but you dont need that unless you plan to run photoshop on your tablet.

(braces herself for laughter and finger pointing) Its a china tab from some company called kinstone model s5pv210 samsung processor running droid gingerbread 2.3.1 total mem 378.89 rab and a dinky 4gb sd card :(
oh and resistive touch
I would try but Im not sure how to get my droid back up and running as it was if something goes wrong. Its only a 7 inch square display anyway. Im just starting to learn about android and sdk and roms and things like that. Plus if I brick it I'm down a machine... even if its just a tab.

Probably better not to try. I am a PC person. Not sure how you are going to install it on an android device even if your specs are good. You would probably need at least 1gb ram to run things smoothly I would guess.

I got 32bit version to try out...

slapped it onto one of my pc's here (2.4 dual-core intel, with 2GB mem)..and it only took up 9GB installed...

so add some on like anti-virus/etc. and it appears to be about same footprint as Win7 on my ViewPad10 tablet...

Win8 on my ViewPad10 tablet....

installed WindowsDeveloperPreview-32bit-english

install went smooth, connected to WiFi fine...install did overwrite my dual boot
setup with Honeycorab...so just re-installed Honeycorab which adRAB the
proper dual-boot..can now boot into Honeycorab or Win8 on the tablet....

also:
-Change displ key for Metro UI: hklm\system\currentcontrolset\control\class\(4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000\Display1_Downscalingsupported to 1
-reboot
-set display to 1024x768

FOOTPRINT is 9.10GB on this tablet...it is partitioned as follows

2GB ext3 for android / 29GB for windows...

I purchased a used RM Slate 100 for less than 300 on ebay. I did a clean install of the Dev preview and then upgraded to the Consumer Prev. Both have run great.
