T610 Buttons Quit Working

This has happened to me on three different T610's within the past 10 months--it's not the same phone, either, because they replace it with a different one each time.

About every 2-3 months, the 2 softbuttons quit working, as well as the joystick and the Back and Clear buttons--that whole set of buttons in the middle--all the other buttons work. The broken buttons render the phone completely useless--it has never been dropped and has never gotten wet. It lives a cushy life in my pocket.

Has that ever happened to anyone, even once? My old Motorola kept working after it went through the clothes washer...why are my T610's such wimps?

I haven't had any issues with mine, I've had it for over a year now. My girlfriend also has the same phone without any issues as well. Same amount of time I've had mine..
 
that's happened to me but it's not as bad as yours- only my joystick doesnt work when shifting down.. and same with my friend.. he has an older model sony ericsson and his joystick is also like that too! BUT we've both dropped our phones many times :P
 
hm... I have a similar problem with my t610... it happens sometimes when I type letters... for example: instead of letter 'e' I get 'f'... it is like I pressed button for 3 times, but I didnt... it happens now and then... not annoying - yet :)
 
Hmm that havent happened to me, i have it for 2 years.
Some knows how to clean the camera lens?
