While it is a shame that the voice recording function was not included with the T5, I have some ideas of how this could be added:
1. Develop a special voice recording adapter that snaps onto the T5's cable connector. This could be similar in design to the iPod's Griffin iTalk Voice Recorder.

2. Develop a new SD multifunction card with both a microphone and flash memory to store recorded messages. Maybe the voice recording software could be preinstalled on the card and it could run automatically when the card is inserted into the slot.
I hope that palmOne or some other developer reads this thread and decides to make these accessories available. It would help their PR.
