I had spinal fusion/decompression L5/S1 in Jan. I have returned nurabness, pain and tingling in my legs, more on left than right. My PM dr has scheduled me for TF ESI on L5. He has done xrays but not another MRI. I asked if I needed one and he said no. I still may ask again if this doesnt work. Either that or get my surgeon to request one. Hopefully it can be done locally as he in over and hour away. I wasnt please with some things that happened at the hospital so i wouldnt want him working on me again but maybe that will just get me the MRI done. Has anyone had this post op or know any info on it? I had an ESI last year and got a spinal leak/headache and asked him about that, because I am scared. He said that shouldnt be as much of a problem now. Said this was mostly to help w/ the nerve pain.

I have had ESI in my neck after my cervical fusion. I've not had the experience with the spinal headaches (thought I did have that with a CT myelogram). I had thought doing ESI post-fusion would be harder for me and the doctor but it has no effect.
