T5: difficulties to sync versamail and outlook

I just bought a T5 and have been struggling to syncronize versamail with my Outlook. The hotsync always returns a message stating that the sycronization with Versamail failed. I am trying to syncronize with a private server-based e-mail. My access to this server is through a wi-fi VPN.

I am also unable to use the internet in the Palm, but don't know what is wrong with the configuration...

If anybody can help me with that, I would be thankful.

I am also running T5. I wish I could assist you with your needs, but I do not run the internet or outlook on my T5. I love to surf and I have found that if I have internet options during the day I tend to be less productive. Also it may be strange with me having T5, but I don't run Outlook. I really have the only two excuses that I am such a creature of habit and I do not know to configure outlook to work with my PDA. I have figured out many many things, but I haven't figured out outlook configuration. I don't use it for email either. I have just never bothered to figure it out.
There are people here who can give you some ideas. Also if your T5 is under warranty Palmone tech support can also assist you. I am interested in reading the replies here....
