T3 screen protector

Boxwave located here they are expensive relative to some but I've had one on my T3 since October 3rd and it won't need to be changed for at least another 3 or 4 months if then.

I use the Fellowes WriteRight screen protector overlay for the Tungsten T. It comes 12 to the pack and includes a card squeegee to smooth the protector onto the T3's screen. They do a great job protecting the screen and last about 2 months each for me. Staples has it available on-line for $8.49, although I paid $15.99 at my local Staples store a year ago when I bought it for my T1. (They must have lowered the price.) My T3's screen is a fraction of an inch longer than my T1's, so there is a small 3/32" strip of uncovered area at the very top of the screen.

Im using the fellow too, except that my uncovered area is in the bottom. :)
I think when you are looking for protector, you could also try ebay, look for sony NR70, the screen size is identical to T3.
 
brando Screen protectors are brilliant.

I used one on my SJ30 for over a year, with no appreciable wear at all.

The screen is not significantly dimmed, but there is a change in the "feel" of the screen... with a slightly increased friction during writing... kind of like pen on paper... which I personally like.

Take a look... I am going to buy one for my new T3, when it arrives in the post (next week, hopefully)
 
I was in a panic 5 days when upgrading the M505 to a T3. I had used Fellowes, which are great. The salesman at Staples recommended PALM's own "cut to fit" ( which is MUCH better idea, anyway, inc case you want to cover just Graffiti area, for example - although I wouldn't recommend that) and I got those - $20. Ouch. ANYWAY, they're better than anything else from Belkin or FEllowes, and here's a trick: take some paste car wax (pure wax, yellow) and place about a "zit's worth" on a piece of soft paper towel. Rub in well, don't get in crevices (you might mask them with scotch tape) - dry and buff. Repeat. Now do the STYLUS tip as well! Man alive, it's like glass and recognition DOUBLES. Writing is effortless and the protector lasts FOREVER. If it wtarts "wearing", REWAX! Buffs up "cloudiness" almost good as new again - you may have to "wax it" once every 3 weeks in SUMMER HEAT, when plastic softens a bit here in the California sun; but it's worth it. Using in an air conditioned office, once should last about 3-4 months; sheet should last a year!! Heavy graffiti info entry is much easier and almost fun - I've been doing it for 2 years - that's why I didn't mind the $20 for the better Palm Sheets.
 
I hardily recommend the Javoedge screen protectors for the T3. As far as I can tell, they are identical to the ones from Boxwave, but ... when I ordered from Boxwave, they messed up my order and refused to make good on it unless I paid another shipping charge. No business for them.
 
After trying every protector on the planet I finally got the Brando. Took almost 2 weeks to arrive, but it was worth it. It almost fell onto the screen by itself. The few large bubbles were easy to smooth out.....and no problem with dust particles like I had with other brands, including the Boxwave. A great product IMHO!!
 
Hi, all. New to the forums, but these are the first forums where I've found some real help. Thanks.

I just bought a T3, and the Belkin protectors, and yes, they don't cover the whole screen. My problem is that with the protector on, my screen doesn't respond properly to taps....if it responds at all. It acts like the calibration has been knocked way off. When I take the protector off or leave it on loosely, it works normally. I did try to recalibrate, but it doesn't respond.

Any ideas? I'm going to take the belkins back. Will try some of your other ideas. Thanks.
