Hi all...

Given my multitude of bad experiences with P1 customer serivce (see the thread: "T3 Digitizer Problem & PalmOne Customer Service Horror Story!"), and the fact that I never got a T3 comparable to the one I originally sent in for repair, I've been thinking about a PDA replacement for my T3. It would have to be Mac compatible, have the voice recorder, and not be a P1 product.

Any thoughts on a good replacement from a reputable company?

Maybe a Symbian smartphone? The only other PDA's out there are Pocket PC's and they do their best to make sure they don't work with a Mac. Using a Mac doesn't leave you with many options.

There is a third party application called Missing Sync that will syncronize Pocket PCs with a Mac. I am not quite sure if iSync will do it or not. Another option is to install Virtual PC on the Mac so you can run Windows applications.

I don't have a Mac so I don't know how well the utilities work.

You can still find new in box Clie TH55's on eBay. You'd still need The Missing Sync but it works flawlessly with a Mac.

My TH55 is my seventh Palm device and, by far, the hightest quality PDA I've ever owned. I'm considering picking up a second one as a backup since I've begun to lose faith in P1.
