Can anyone help with this.

I have recently upgraded our office computer system, we have a server with MS small business server 2003 software and XP with office 2003 on the work stations. The problem is I have just resetup my Palm Desk top and I am having trouble getting it to hot sync, comes up with the message on my T3 (hot sync operation was interrupted. Some of your data was not backed up.) so when I check the log it says that hotsync failed for Oulook contacts, tasks, calander and notes etc. Also with this meassage,(Request failed because there are too many open databases). I have updated all software and checked the condute settings as per the help I found the Palm site, which indicated what conduits to select, but have had no joy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Before anyone gets to waisting any time for me on this, I contacted Palm tech support and they were very helpfull in talking me through fixing the problem and now it works fine. On my office computer I have public folder with contacts, Palm suggested Intellisync for this, is anyone familiar with using Intellisync to to sync public contacts with my T3.

On another problem they helped me fix, I could never get the SMS feature on my T3 to work. Everything else was fine, dialing numbers sending emails etc, but no SMS it was coming up with an error message. The solution for Palm gave me for this for others that may have had this problem, is to always put the +sign and country code before the phone number and this fixed the problem, it works fine with this.

Cheers

You should look at Pocket Mirror Pro at www.chapura.com if you need to sync public folders. It's about the same price as Intellisync and much more reliable in my experience. Pocket Mirror is also more robust than the Palm T3 Outlook conduits as well so I think it would be a good choice in your situation.
