Can someone help me with setting up a connection between my desktop computer and my T3. I recently purchased a Belkin Bluetooth? USB Adapter F8T001, I have installed this on the desktop and I have been trying to get it to allow me to access the internet using my T3. I have been able to pair the devices but have not been able to access the internet from the T3.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks iiicRules,

Yes still having problems, have tried everything listed on the whizoo link you sent, think I have followed everything but this is as far as I can get,. Everything appears to be set up, so when I try and connect my PC tells me I am connected but my T3 sticks on the signing on window and eventualy times out with a message, Error: timeout ox1212. I currently have a dial up connetion at home, but will be changing when I get time to organise, but I feel it should still work.

Any help would be appreciated.

You do have ICS enabled on your main LAN or Internet connection, *not* on the Bluetooth LAN, right? And your Bluetooth LAN connection is set up with the fixed IP of 192.168.0.1?

In my experience (I have used this method to connect my T3 to the Net via both my desktop and laptop) getting ICS wrong is a common reason for the sort of problems you describe.

The other big one is if you're running Zone Alarm or another firewall on the PC. If you are, it's probably blocking ICS.

Howdy,

I finally got my T3 working, I was trying to do it in the evening after a long day at work, so easy to miss things when you are tired. I didn?t have the firewall turned off completely and had a space between CLIENTSERVER in script settings. I have a small problem though, I have Trend Micro Internet Security which I have set on ?Home Network? in my Firewall profiles, this allows the conection to work, but I keep getting a network virus emergency centre message. It reads as shown in the attached file.
Has anyone got any advise on how to set my firewall, I believe you can change port settings but how do I know which port.

Also is their a program that can monitor and tell me the signal strength.

Thanks for the help.
