hi,
ive had several PDA's in the past ...including the zire31 & CLIE nz90 and im thinking of getting a new one, and the Palm TX looks like a great choice (partly due to the relatively cheap price compared to other PDAs available to me) ...but im wondering what to expect with it...

what i want:

Wifi to check emails/quotes etc in school
Bluetooth to sync
a reader to read PDFs (a complete software, not trial)
Word to be able to write notes
the ability to save information in folders (much like on a laptop)
...and the basics (calendar, phonebook, calculator..etc)

im wondering is the TX a good choice for what im looking for...so im asking any and all of those who have used it...

thanks for the help in advance,
QGK

Well, the TX appears to meet your needs--just get PalmPDF (freeware) to read .pdf files, and depending on what kind of information you want to store in folders, there are many different free and commercial programs that can do that. Free .txt file readers/editors include CardTXT, SiEd, and TxtMemo. The TX comes with Documents to Go, which handles Word files nicely.

I don't have a TX myself, but others here have, so I'll leave it to them to elaborate and/or correct me.
