hello! I just bought a Mytouch 3g (no slide).
I already have a plan with T-mobile without a data plan. I don't want a data plan because I can just use the internet sometimes with Wi-fi. The thing is, I need to activate the phone! Since I don't have a data plan, they don't let me pass! I am aware that you can just use a friend's data plan SIM card but non of my friends have data plans. I also know that you can just use the data plan until you activate the phone and then cancel it. But how long do u have to wait to cancel it? Can I just activate the data plan and cancel once i'm done? And how much money would it cost me??
