I'm opening a new family plan with T-Mobile after my current contract ends. 2 year contract with 750 Minutes + Unlimited Text. Unlimited Web is $10 for regular phones and $30 for smart phones. I already have a Blackberry Curve and think it's ridiculous to pay a couple extra hundred dollars for a new smart phone.
If I get a regular phone with unlimited web, can I place my SIM card in my Blackberry and still be able to use the unlimited web? Is there a difference between unlimited web for regular and smart phones? And would T-Mobile be able to detect that I switched phones?
