Well lets get a little fact placed into this misdirected thread.
Verizon Wireless (for those who don't know is a joint venture with Vodaphone/Verizon) has an exclusivity agreement with RIM that has a clause with sales #'s. If Verizon is unable to meet their end of the deal, RIM is free to open it up to other carriers. How long this is set to be in place has not been disclosed. A GSM Storm has already passed through the door of the FCC meaning they are very capable of releasing a GSM storm at any given time if Verizon drops the ball. Currently Verizon has been more than meeting their sales quota so don't get your hopes up.
The chances Tmo will get it in the near future (if ever) is slim not because of being a gsm provider, but for the pure fact ATT has more pull/money to grab it first and sign an agreement that allows them to be the only GSM carrier to have it in North America for 90 or 180 days and Tmo being the only provider running the 1700 3G band. RIM putting out a version compatible for such a small audience just wouldn't make sense in pure $'s. Just as it was decided the Bold will skip Tmo, good chance the Storm will to, but there are plenty of new models in RIM's pipeline. If you really want it that bad, when the GSM version drops (which it will eventually, because lets face it, it doesn't have the iphone's popularity, the sales for vzw won't maintain these initial volume levels) you can just get it unlocked and run with it on tmobile.
