T-Mobile Reps I have a question

Ok here goes... im going to cancel T-mobile in about a week or so when at&t drops the HTC Touch Pro (I know Windows Mobile what a shame) but the phone is a beast... but my question is im canceling because at my girl's house i have no signal, at my house i got weak signal.. checked the coverage maps and i have 0 signal at my girls house wether i have a 3g phone or not and i only have like 4 months left on my contract and i have been a T-mobile customer for 5-6 years is there any way to get the Early Termination Fee reduced at all and if i could how so... Thank you
 
i know i can take my extras off (already talked to a rep) but i cant lower my voice plan which is $40 a month so in 4 months i will pay more than the ETF
 
the only way that you can cancel without the ETF is if there is no reception where you live. they wont charge you cause the service wont work there.
 
jd what about upgrading to 8120 and run off wifi at girlfriends and your home? Reception will be 10/10. And if you go hotspot for $10 a month all calls uma will be free. Think on it if etf too expensive
 
WiFi is included, but I think you still have to pay for HotSpot... $10 per month for that unlimited calling from any hot spot... we'll worth it for me!

And, if you're on a family plan, it applies to your account... not just a phone... so for $10 per month, my wife's phone works on Hot Spot as well, as does my extra backup phone.
 
i would love to upgrade to a 8120 but they cut there Internet service off about 3 months ago, oh and the pro-rated ETF wouldnt apply to me right because i have been a CUSTOMER FOR TOO LONG??? im pretty sure its for people who signed up after July
 
I guess i could call and see if the would honor the Pro-Rated ETF for me considering i have been a customer with them for ATLEAST 5 Years
