t-mobile question contract and new phone so on... lol?

so i just got a blackberry with a 2 year contract two lines with a free phone i was wondering if i can buy a sidekick lx and change the number from the free phone into that and if id have to pay full price for the lx or have it be with the two year contract or how that would work...?
