T-Mobile outage?

Jokes aside, I fell in love with Miami when I went down last April (and I got good reception there).

I would have loved to message the world too when I was up on Glacier Point in Yosemite... BUT... .

Yes, a handheld restart is a quick thing to try... still, what I have been noticing persists: periodic sluggish behavior or outright freezing, with the diagnostics zeroing in on DNS server not reachable... It doesn't make much sense: my DNS cache is of decent size and duration, and besides I tend to browse one or two sites only for extended lengths of time, which would not involve new name resolutions... And yet I do get the anomaly I get
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~I am usually the first one to jump to the defense of T-mobile when someone says something negative, I mean I have been with since they were voicestream.....here I am 5.5 yrs later and I am so PI**ED off that I am SERIOUSLY thinking about changing to another provider and this is why....Monday night all the lines (3) on my account went to SOS and had changed to the ATT network, data and voice was VERY sporadic. I called on Tuesday and got the run around about how it was my bb curve....I told the CSR that there was no way because the wing and the nokia were doing the same thing (plus, I am a member of rabroad and know when an issue isn't my phone) and no way were all 3 phones messing up. So I am told it is a global outage.....Wednesday I again am dealing with no phone while at home, I am sick and can't call into work (lost my job because of it) so I call AGAIN.....everytime I get CSR on the phone the call drops...2 hours and still getting the run around....so now it is Thursday and I call yet again to see what is going on and FINALLY (2 days after the first call) they put a work order in. This morning I get up and still sos on the ATT network....I call and they tell me they have no idea when it will be fixed and there is now a note on my account that says it should be resolved in 60 days! WTF! I am suppose to continue to pay for service that doesn't work in my home area?!?! The CSR says well you can always get the router and use wifi. What? Why would I want to put more money into it? So I call back and half way through the call it drops....call back, call drops...finally get through and the lady was very nice, I ask her what they are going to do to compensate me....are you ready for this....they are going to give me a $15 credit!! HOW GENEROUS!! Come on....I pay $200+ a month for my lines and have been with them 5.5 years and all I get is a $15 credit and crappy service for up to 60 days!! Is it just me or is this REALLY messed up?!?!
 
That is not right at all. That is BEYOND messed up. If they don't get that global outage corrected soon, I'm done (I have 18 months left on my 2 yr contract). Having NO IDEA when it will be corrected is just wrong.

Things have gotten better since Wednesday (when I saw just about every signal icon I could), but I don't trust not knowing when service will be what it was 5 yrs ago. I checked the maps in my zip code and they're not as good as what it should be.
 
We are seriously thinking about paying to get out of our contract. They prorate it now so it isn't an automatic $200 per line. At this point anything is better than this.

It's a good thing I have 18 months on my contract (can't afford the fee to break the contract right now).

Since 2007, I have had WAY MORE outages than I care to deal with. I am already in the process of looking for other carriers so that by the time I CAN switch, I will. My family is well aware of the problems I have had.

Just within the last hour, I have had the following:

A friend tell me my e-mail STILL isn't working after trying to e-mail me.
The entire range of signal icons I can think of.
Failed Diagnostic Report.

WTF is up with service and NO HELP as to when it will be corrected? I even to e-mailed CS to find out anything.
 
Its tmo,I've had the same issue constantly. It was a lot worse when I had. My sklx, lost data service and cell signal even in downtown atlanta. It has gotten better since I.switched to my BB, but still not worth the hefty billim left with for what is provided. I'm very tempted to just switch to an iphone so if I get stuck with a bill as high as what I have I at least have 3G and a touch screen with good features.
