t-mobile g1 pros and cons?

Im getting a g1 from craigslist today and i wanted to know the pros and cons about this phone. the longest and best answer will get 10 points and a thumbs up :)

i have a few questions hope u can answer em:
1) what kind of apps are on the phone
2)do free ringtone websites like ventones and zedge work the phone? or is it just limited to a catalog like the sidekick 08
3) umm is the keyboard easy to text on?
4) hows the battery life on it?

And add anything else you can think of! Thanks :)
 
i thought about getting it too but it was just too ugly for me. I ended up with the samsung t919 or "behold"
