T-mobile Cust Svc down for 72 hours!!

I just talked to one of the CS Reps at Tmobile. It seems that the storm in the NE has flooded their mainframe and it's now under 6 feet of water! They're estimating at least 72 hours until they have the problem fixed and are able to make any account changes.

Just an FYI...
 
yeah come on really you keep your main frame that low to the ground. Should be at least 2-3 feet off the ground and in a air tight seal. guess if you sneeze near it it would go down too
 
He is correct. Their estimate that we have been given (indirect dealer) has been 2 days before we can activate normally. They were able to run credit checks this morning and have made it so we can activate on three plans right now. They are working to get the servers up and running again.

No, you can still purchase phones. The issue has to do with activations and upgrades for discounts as far as the store is concerned. Not sure how much we can get into the account either, but just purchasing a phone should not be an issue.

hmm www.tmobile.com loaded normally for me just now surprised they didn't say something there for potential new customers
 
Yes, unless they have done some changes by the time you make it into the store. As it sits right now, no you will most likely not be able to do an upgrade and get a discounted price.
