T-Mobile coverage

We live in a somewhat rural area. My new white BBPearl with T-Mobile will arrive tomorrow and I'm a little bit worried about reception. Looking at the coverage map it looks like where I live has very little to no coverage. Where I work looks fine, but I will use this phone a lot from home. Is there anyone here who lives in a rural area that has T-Mobile and has good reception?
