T-Mobile BlackBerry Daylight Savings Time Software Patch

For anyone who did not get the message from T-Mobile, go to the following link from your device to download the software patch for the update to the new Daylight Savings Time. www.blackberry.com/dst2007/patch
 
Well, it didn't brick my phone, so that's good. It does show up under options 2007 DST patch. If I click on it, it says applied. I suppose we won't know until DST!

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~Yeah, like 17oobie said I guess we won't know for sure if it works until the day comes. However, it installed successfully and prompted to reboot the device specifically noting a DST update, so I'm assuming it worked. Just make sure you reboot, otherwise it's probably no go. Also, I don't know if this patch will work for other providers, but I don't see why not, as the file is authored by RIM, not T-Mobile, and is located on the BlackBerry website, not T-Mobile's site.
 
t-mobile is sending out the update via free txt.

I already had installed it a week or so back, but it arrived tonight in the free text.

way to be on the ball tmob.

Yeah thought that was nice of them to do that for us.

But I still don't know what the big deal about the DST is? Guess I should have read the posts, eh?

Oh well, if my device bricks it won't be the first time!
