blackberries are really great smartphones and any smartphone will cost you around $30/month for a data plan but blackberries are kind of getting outdated in my opinion. if it was up to me i would personally go with the My touch or the G1 or maybe unlocking an iphone for t-mobile. all of these smartphones would cost you about $30/month and i think you would be happier with these phones over a blackberry. but, if you have your heart set on a blackberry then go for it. its still a great phone and i have used many of them in the past but my current phone now is the Motorola droid because im on verizon. All smartphones will cost you about $200 on a contract but im not exactly sure of the cost on t-mobile because as i have said before i have verizon. for example if you buy the blackberry curve on t-mobile i think it will probably cost you around $179.99 on a new two year contract. if you were to get a phone not on a contract it will cost you much more than that. hope this helps
