T-Mobile USA is late to the high-speed wireless party, but it's going low-cost to catch up. yeah t-mobile will have true 3g, and is currently working on LTE, like the other carriers. projected time for any carrier to even launch a stable LTE network won't be until 2011 or so

Jonny et al,

What will be needed to take advantage of this upcoming 3G network on T-Mobile? Are all-new handsets required or will existing devices (like the Curve 8320) work?

Well since this is a mostly Blackberry friendly forrum no current blackberry that I know has 3g capability so you will need to have a 3g phone to be able to use it so most likely they will have to release new phones well thats mostly my though on it.

T-mobile currently has a handful of devices that are 3g enabled already. And erica I assure you that it'll be 22 months before your next upgrade. Well 22 months from after you purchase the 8120. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

Nokia3555. Samsung 639. Samsung 819. Is what we have right now. I think there might be one more. And there should be a few more launching very soon. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

What I was asking I don't think was answered. Is the 8100 3G capable. I know my 8130 on Alltel ran on the EVDO network.~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
