T-mobile BB plans??

I just got my pearl and wanted to know whats the different between the 19.99 blackberry internet plan and the BB Voice enhancement plan thats free . . . i rather have the second once since its free (i think...) and im kinda low on money :cry:
 
Well it looks like the 19.99 plan is just email only. It most likely doesnt include Data which would be MMS, PIN, BBM, Internet and Media Net or the TMO Tzones I think it is. I'm not sure what the voice enhancement plan is but I would guess it's just the Voice Recognition that comes with the Berry.
 
I'm using the 19.99 plan myself, it does 10 email addresses and all data. The BB Voice enhancement would give you Tzones, which if you use their proxy would give you full internet; Not all programs support proxy's though in which case those wouldn't run and AFAIK you won't get push email.

A while back, before I owned any Blackberry, I did the whole proxy thing. It worked but since I tether alot it became a royal pain since I'd have to setup the browser each time to go back and forth between using the proxy when on tmobile and not using the proxy when on dsl. There were a few things that didn't work either, IRC I think was one of them.

Personally, it's still not to bad... 39 for 1000 minutes, free night/weekend, and 19 for unlimited internet which I do 4-5 gigs a month. It's still less than I had with Verizon; 80 a month and they would call me most months about using too much "unlimited" internet.
 
I'm using the 19.99 plan myself too, it also does 10 email addresses and all data.... I just dont have text msgs. so I opted for a 400 for $4.99... and got the Jivetalk with uses data plan... now I talk to whoever and know what I am charged with no suprises...

I dont really need email...

so the tzones will give me unlimited data on the pearl? if so where can i get the proxy settings? (searched be didnt find them)
 
How do you have 1000 minutes for 39.99? i have 600 minutes for 39.99! do you have that myfaves plan, in which case nights and weekends are not unlimited i thought? is it too late to sighn up for that and get unlimited texts for 9.99?
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I also have the $39.99 600 non-MyFaves plan with free nights and weekends which I really don't use, $14.99 for unlimited texts (have thought about switching just to save on the texts), and $19.99 unlimited BIS.If I can save on the texts I may add my other phone back on my account so I can switch up when I want a full keyboard device.
 
I have the 2000 min family plan. We both have text plans. i was lucky when i upgraded my phone. I have the my favs plan and my wifes phone is the moto 360. (One of the best phones)
We end up paying about 160 a month. The insurance, road side, messaging, and they unlimited data add up quick.
wouldn't trade t-mo for anything.
 
for the 39.99 it was like a week for the promo i did that last month (its not a fav 5 plan) and the 9.99 unlimited txt was a promo i got last year...

but can i use the tzones for unlimited data? if so how i set up the proxy settings? (if i need them)

Here is the deal...

1. The $19.99 Blackbery Data Plan gives you unlimted data / web browsing / downloads and emails. No SMS/ MMS messages are included and would be charged at I beleive 15 cents.
2. The BB "Enabler" adds T-zones and Instant Messenger to your phone but no free messages or data are included. Yes, you can visit T-Zones but if you download anything or try to browse the web (not sure this is even possible with TZ) you will pay. You will also pay for the IMs same as SMS. Youcan add a text package and enabler and use the IM program.
3. The BB Minutes and More plans include email, data, and unlimites messaging. No freee Nights and Weekends.

For those who asked - Yes, 1000 anytime with free N&W @39.99 expired about 10 days ago sorry. The 9.99 unlimted text promotion is currently offered to any phone on a my faves plan.

oh, so i guess tzones if different for BB's cause with my motorola I can browse the web, use opera mini and use google maps all day long with no extra fees

so if i was to get the $19.99 Blackbery Data Plan and try to browse the web with my motorola, it wont work or will it? (i have to switch back to the moto every now and then...)

Sorry, I dont beleive the BB data plan would do anything on a moto...nor do I beleive there is any way to get meaningful data access on your BB without a BB data plan.
 
Actually that may be invalid. I was pleasently surprised the other day when I went back to my Treo 650 for a little bit testing something and found that my internet still worked. Of course this was on Cingular, haven't had anyone try it on T-Mobile.
