T-Mobile 3G Upgrade

Yesterday a buddy of mine said TMO upgraded their 3G network, he had to reboot his phone & was then able to get T1 speeds on 3G...can anyone confirm this upgrade happened??

Yes, I read that it was upgraded to 7.2 Mbps and happened on 1/4/10

it seems like the opposite (as least for me). My 3G have been sucking ever since the upgrade. I keep getting errors saying can't connect to the provider. Anyone else having this problem? I stay in Dallas, TX.

I have been getting some errors as well on web. It will clock when I go into emails.

But that is while I'm on wifi, not 3G. So maybe there is something going on with TMO service right now.
