T-Mo text rate increases to $.20 8/29/08

You probably won't be able to take your number with you because your account will close immediately when you ask to cancel.
Both your old service and new service have to be active to "port" your number to another carrier. This is standard for all carriers.

Isn't it at the moment $.10? I don't know because I have unlimited text. If so then its just an extra $.10. Why is everybody going crazy talking about they are going to switch? Yeah it adds up but your bill won't be that much of a difference. Unless you are a seriously heavy texter. Lol

I had 26k last month. Haha. Damn Twitter.

Anyone know about international rates? Are those raising too? Cause that would "adversely affect me", as the contract words it.

Everyone see's the way out of there contract without paying the ETF that's why its a big deal. If it was in the terms and conditions that we may raise you rate and you must complete your tearm with us, then this would not be that big of a deal.. but because it shows that if we make a change then you have the chance.

I've got the 1000 sms and mms package. If I go over my 1000 msgs or I get rid of my bundle, then I would have to pay the .20 per message. Because of this, would I be able to cancel without the ETF?

two questions:

1. are we certain that switching from an unlimited plan to a limited/pay per text plan that we can cancel when the change is announced without an ETF?

2. are mms rates affected? since i have an unlimited sms plan, would a change in mms rates qualify for a cancellation without ETF?

please clarify as i reeeaaallllyyy want the bold when it comes out!
