hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

scuse me

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

don't talk about genre's you don't know anything about.

Don... Who do you think you're fooling with this?... God forbid you won't lost long before getting banned again, and if you don't, i will be very concerned.

And doom metal IS melodic yes.... Type O Negative have a drone like approach, but they are melodic nonetheless.

But then again you will call me a durabass, and of course you think Dream Theater are the most melodic and passionate band in music... Go figure.

Im going for Mesmerize pretty much because I have never really liked SOAD before hearing this album. I still don't like them much but at a lesser scale than before.

i'm a fan of the next song on that album, vicinity of obscenity. also, i've noticed a lot of fans seem to dislike lonely day, which i disagree with. honestly, there isn't a single system of a down song i don't like. its just the style of their earlier work appeals to me alittle more

I have an on again/off again thing with System of a Down. I'll listen to them non-stop for 2-3 weeks, then go several months without ever listening to them again:laughing:

I do hope they get back together sometime soon, I'd love one more album/tour.

I love SOAD. I really hope they come to America and I get a chance to see them. But I hope it's just concerts only. As much as I like their music, I don't want them to release a new album. I feel that too many people will look at them as "that band that used to be good". Even though I would probably like the music, a lot of people would criticize it like they are already doing with Hypnotize/Mezmerize.

I count that as two separate albums, since they sold separately. Mezmerize was good, but I didn't like Hypnotize at all. I only liked one song on that album.

Well, I believe they aren't playing the heavy stuff for singles because the radio only wants to play their most "pop" type stuff(?)!!! The radio usually prefers to play the "pop" type clean songs, rather than the great heavy/dirty rockers, ya know?Of course it's a damn shame!!!:finger: those basstarRAB!!!

Yeah that's true, Daron's got to stop singing and writing all the lyrics and hogging the spotlight. That's why the last two albums sucked, because of Daron and his ****ty writing.

BTW you spelt his name wrong

Keep in mind, Misfit spunk was the same guy who said Punk had nothing to do with passion. And if he's lumping system in with nu-metal, he's clearly never heard them, or is mistaking them for someone else.

Honestly, its not opinion at that point. Draw the obvious connections between system of a down and three days grace, disturbed, korn, or limp bizkit.
