i saw the "steal this album" in the shops and it caught my eye, thought it was funny, ive now heard a few of their songs, not really my fav kinda music but there alright

Yes definitely a creative band regardless of their latest crap. I haven't even bothered listening to Hypnotize, heard so much poor stuff about it.

The only reason I'm negative towarRAB SOAD is because of my above post, other then that I still think they're creative musically.

Oh and boo boo I keep thinking your cheeseman now with that avatar.
 
The decision to release the two discs six months apart was made simply to give fans time to get into and really live with the music from Disc One before plunging into Disc Two.
 
Theyre Sick Ive seen them 3 times, and met them twice.. theyve inspired eye opening music like mine.

Nah, they are quite different. Especially on vocals. People who love James Hetfield's voice have been know to absolutely despise Serj's.

Metal take's as much talent as anything. I don't care for a lot of types of music, but I know they're music.

If you're talking about the vocals, they take extreme amounts of talent that I would like to see you, or a normal person pulling off. Here is an example of an amatuer: YouTube - Death Metal Vocal Sampler #1 .

That takes a lot more talent than you'd relize. If you say thats just random screaming:

Ahh. Even though it is my favorite album by them, I can see where you have the hate for them. If you really want to listen to the best of them, I suggest their self titled album. Just my opinion.
 
I now officially hate you. I have been trying to see them for about four years, and every time something happens and I cant go! I would love to see them SO much, you have no idea... :( *Cries hysterically*
 
Forums are for expressing your opinions, I understand that.

I'm saying that you're saying people are giving you... "flak" ...about your taste in music and still you insult another album.

I find it fairly hypocritical.
 
well you can call me a fangirl if you like but they kick ass

i don't know why they aren't focusing on heavier songs but thats not to say theyll definately bring them out.
I think its good that they are doing one of the songs with primarily Daron singing though

still if i picked one song off of each part of the double album for them to release it would have been Sad Statue for mesmerize and Tentative for hypnotize
