no i wouldnt visit iraq because its still not safe, but then i never said it was safe in the first place. i merely stated it was in a better position then before the war.
 
^ Yeah I saw that too... twas' kickass. I like the fact that they played they're new single, and then played "Chop Suey", which is a classic song off Toxicity.
 
I don't know if they can really be compared... I mean they arn't in the same genre, Static-X is industrial and System of a Down is Nu-Metal. I mean, they both have strong points too, like Static-X has a good vocalist while SOAD has a crappy one. But then I like the lyrics by SOAD more. So I really can't pick between them, it'd be like asking what band is better AC/DC or Blink-182...
 
I'm gunna add a forth...because it kicks the "korabucha mushroom peoples" arse.

I gave Serj's album another spin, wasn't as bad as I remeraber, but much less metal. The Scars On Broadway album is actually GOOD. I definitely enjoyed it way more than Serj's album. I'm gonna listen a few more times and see what my favorite songs are. Right now Babylon caught my ears, as well as a few early tracks.



The Scars On Broadway album sounRAB more like System than Serj does. And Hypnotize is their most underrated record (probably because Mezmerize overshadowed it in terms of popularity). It was my favorite, anyways.
 
mhmh, i like suite pee,of the self titled too, especially the bit that goes 'cos everyone neeRAB....a...mother.....****ER!' awesomeness.
my fav on the self titled are:
know, sugar, and suite-pee.
of steal this album:**** the system.
and mezmerize: BYOB
and toxcitiy, obv toxicity and chop suey and aerials.
 
I mean overhyped, half the people on here make it out like they're the greatest rock band on the planet. I bought an album, was completely disappointed with it and didn't think it was all it was made out to be. They're also overrated.
 
SOAD is a great band with great inovations in their songs. They are new, interesting, powerful sound and catchy. I didn't like the Poltical rock-ness that much but they pulled it off pretty well. I am going to get the new album pretty soon and I hope it is great. :)
 
I just bought Mesmerize after hearing "Violant Pornography" on the radio. Do not regard Stea this Album as a CD they made. it was slapped together to thwart pirating. This CD is worth the cash, I think SOAD will be one of the banRAB that are still making great recorRAB in 10 years.
