I have a system in my 1997 Camaro and my alternator has gone bad. I just bought this car 3 months ago so I'm assuming its possible that the alternator could've been in bad condition to begin with, and with me putting my system in it, it killed it? Is that a possibility? Would getting a standard 105 amp alternator be sufficient? I plan on getting an upgraded system within the next 3 months, and that will include a capacitor so would a new alternator be able to hold off until then? Should i remove my system until i get the new upgraded one?
