Syndicated "South Park" Cuts Thread

Last night they showed the episode where they make fun of Token for being rich and then the rich kids also make fun of him. At the end of that one they say "p***y" about a million times, so clearly that word is fair game. They also said "d**k". Of course, they still might not be allowed to actually use them as sexual slang.

So far, since the edit in "Fingerbang", the only edit I've noticed is one in "Ike's Wee-Wee" where they cut out Cartman's final line about "the fireman" and its "helmet". I mean, aside from the obvious edits like extra bleeps and shortening Cartman's "G**dammit" to "dammit". Of course, most of these episodes are new to me, so I'm not the one to ask.

Last night was "Kenny Dies". Definitely one of the more twisted episodes. (It's the one where Cartman collects aborted fetuses.) But the only noteworthy edit I noticed was bleeping Kenny (that's one of the recurring differences in syndication). All of the sick jokes I remember in it were still there.

Well, last Friday's second episode was "Kenny Dies" and now it's "Freak Strike." Did they just skip three episodes, or are those going to be shown later? People have posted they saw "Damien" but my affiliate didn't run that.

I was just as surprised as you. To my knowledge there has NEVER been visible semen on a TV14.....

I think they didn't blur out the middle finger in the Rainforest episode because it was so small.

EDIT: Well, never mind...."Tweek vs. Craig" appeared last night and it had about twenty flip-offs from Craig.

Now playing: "Jon Edwards is the Biggest Douche in the Universe". Looks like smooth sailing.

"Red Man's Greed" aired earlier, but I don't think there's anything really noteworthy in that. That one's sort of all-or-nothing depending on how afraid they are of racial humor.

"South Park is Gay!" made it abundantly clear that the word "f*g" will be allowed in all its forms (previously they've had relatively indirect stuff like "f*ggy", although maybe they have had it before, I'm not sure).

"Christian Rock Hard" is airing. I won't be watching all of it since Conan O'Brien is on late, but for the record... it's on. I figure that's probably sort of all-or-nothing, either they show it or they don't. Only a few choice lines I could imagine being cut out. Most of it is just a subject matter thing.

EDIT: I didn't get to see if they changed "I wanna get on my knees and please Jesus" at all, but they did leave in the (always bleeped) "**** JESUS!" ending. One interesting thing is that in this case, they had to actually bleep out the "God" in "G**damn" instead of just cutting it down like they usually do. Because then they tell Cartman not to take the Lord's name in vain. (They still ruined the syllable structure of his haiku in that one episode, though.)

"Raisins" just aired. I was wondering WHAT they were going to do with the "continuing source of inspiration" joke. It was almost left in. They just shortened it a bit to make it less obvious. It went something like...

JIMMY: Wendy, Stan says you're a cont--... a cont--...
WENDY: Well, tell Stan to **** off!
JIMMY: ...cont-- continuing source of inspiration to him!

Whereas in the original version the stuttering goes on much longer. Must've been an interesting S&P meeting for that one, since it basically came down to "leave the exact same joke in, but make it faster so that maybe people won't notice it."

Oh, and they didn't blur Stan's very clear middle finger at the end. "Wendy... you're a b**ch. Token... Right here, buddy."

BTW, at some point since the last time this thread was active, I was watching UPN South Park with headphones on and it DID sound like people were saying "Ms. Chokesondi--". It's so very hard to tell that you almost wonder why they even bothered.

Just curious, is the opening I saw alongside the syndicated version of "My Future Self an' Me" from the original CC version or was it made for the syndication version? It looked like the old (pre-4th grade) opening but with some stuff from later episodes?

Let's see:

South Park Is Gay!
Christian Rock Hard
Grey Dawn
Casa Bonita
All About the Mormons?
Butt Out
Raisins
It's Christmas In Canada

Wait, so there were 8? According to TV.com that's how it was. 15 in total for season 7.

I haven't been keeping track for most of this week due to finals and stuff, but I know they've shown South Park Is Gay, Christian Rock Hard, Raisins, and It's Christmas In Canada.
Actually, I think I also caught a little bit of "All About the Mormons" now that I think about it.
I don't see why Casa Bonita would be unaired... but I don't think I've ever seen Grey Dawn or Butt Out, so I don't know about those.
