Synchronising T3 with outlook 2003

With regards to synchronising my T3 and Outlook 2003 on XP Pro, I have been directed to 2 programs, PocketMirror and Intellisync. Can anyone advise on the best way to go, I need to be able to sync with public folders and the best versions to use.

Thanks in advance.

This is the only one that I'd recommend because it will allow you to sync to subfolders etc. Also, Pocket Mirror Pro XT is dedicated totally to the Palm platform and as such seems to be a bit more stable and user friendly. It can be had here .

If you have an older version of a Palm you should be able to upgrade rather than having to get the full tilt $60 version but the full version of Intellisync is the same price. With PMPXT - it will automatically map the fields pretty much based upon the normal Outlook fields.

Intellisync you have to map the fields the first time and I found that process cumbersome and inaccurate.

PalmOne update

I assumed that you had seen the 'patch' from PalmOne. You should be able to use it with Outlook 2003. So you may be able to save some money. It won't let you sync to subfolders but that's what Pocket Mirror Pro XT is for.

Good, glad you had seen it. I assumed that you had and that can be a fault....and I hate giving advice that might cost you money for no real reason.

Hi Moose Man,

I have downloaded Pocket Mirror XT. To install it do I do this over the top of the existing setup, it is currently working but not with my public folders as previously mentioned. Just looking for any tips to help the install go smoothly.

Thanks

Unless you had Pocket Mirror before....the default conduits are by Palm unlike previous Outlook conduits....then PMPXT will automatically overwrite the conduits and probably tell you to turn off the Palm Conduits if it doesn't do it automatically.

Install...choose the defaults when prompted during the installation unless there is something that you specifically want to change of course.
